How We Work

Our working process

A clear process from enquiry to invoice

01

1. Send the transport details

Email accounts@cplogistic.co.uk with:

  • Your business name and contact details
  • Collection and delivery postcodes
  • Collection and delivery site contacts
  • Description of the goods
  • Total weight and dimensions
  • Number of pallets, bundles, crates or individual items
  • Preferred collection and delivery dates
  • Loading and unloading arrangements
  • Site restrictions or timed-booking requirements
  • Details of any additional stop or return movement
  • Any hazardous-goods or waste classification
02

2. We assess the movement

We review the load, route, dates and operational requirements. We may request photographs or additional details where the goods are irregular, high-value, unusually heavy or subject to specific documentation.

An enquiry is not a confirmed booking and does not require either party to proceed.

03

3. We issue a written quotation

The quotation sets out the proposed transport service, price and material assumptions. It also identifies any separately chargeable requirements that are known at that stage.

If the load, route, date or site conditions change, the quotation may need to be revised.

04

4. The booking is confirmed

A movement is booked only when the customer accepts the quotation and CLEARPATH LOGISTICS LTD confirms the instruction in writing.

Goods should not be presented for collection before booking confirmation has been received.

05

5. Collection and delivery take place

The collection and delivery are carried out according to the confirmed instructions, subject to road, site and operational conditions.

The sending and receiving sites must provide safe access, suitable loading or unloading arrangements and competent personnel.

06

6. Delivery information and invoicing

Available delivery confirmation is supplied where included in the agreed service. CLEARPATH LOGISTICS LTD then issues an invoice for the transport and support provided.

Payment is made by bank transfer to an account held in the company's name. New customers may be asked to make payment before transport is booked. Credit terms, where offered, are confirmed in writing.

Booking changes and cancellations

Changes to a confirmed route, date, load or site instruction may affect availability and price. Customers should notify us as early as possible.

Cancellation charges may apply where transport capacity has already been committed or a third-party cost has been incurred. Any applicable charge will reflect the booking stage and committed cost.

Built for dependable movement

Accurate instructions matter

The customer must ensure that the description, weight, dimensions, classification and collection details are accurate. A collection can be delayed, repriced or refused where the actual load does not match the confirmed information.
