Clearpath Logistics Ltd

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you buy scrap metal?

No. CLEARPATH LOGISTICS LTD provides transport and logistics support. We do not purchase scrap or pay customers for metal.

Do you sell metal?

No. We are not a metal merchant or stockholder. Our invoices relate to road transport and agreed support services.

Can you transport recyclable metal?

We can assess the enquiry once the material and its legal classification are clear. If it is controlled waste, the movement requires an appropriately authorised transport arrangement, the correct documentation and an eligible receiving destination.

Do you provide metal prices per tonne?

No. We do not value or purchase metal. Load weight affects transport requirements and may therefore affect the logistics price, but our charge is for the transport service rather than the material.

What information do you need to quote?

We need the collection and delivery postcodes, load description, total weight, dimensions, number of handling units, preferred dates and loading arrangements. Site restrictions, additional stops and classification requirements must also be disclosed.

How is the transport price calculated?

The price is based on the route, vehicle requirement, load details, timing, site conditions and support required. A written quotation is provided before booking.

Do you accept domestic removals?

No. Our services are intended for commercial freight rather than general household moves.

Can I deliver metal to your registered office?

No. The registered office is a correspondence address, not a depot or public drop-off site.

Who owns the goods during transport?

CLEARPATH LOGISTICS LTD does not take ownership simply by transporting or arranging the movement. Ownership remains with the relevant customer, supplier or receiving party under their commercial agreement.

Do you use third-party transport providers?

We may arrange suitable capacity through third-party transport providers depending on the route, load and availability. CLEARPATH LOGISTICS LTD remains the customer's point of contact for the service it has quoted and confirmed.

Can you provide proof of delivery?

Delivery confirmation or proof of delivery can be supplied where it is included in the agreed service and made available after completion.

How do I request a quotation?

Email the full movement details to accounts@cplogistic.co.uk. We will review the information and respond with any questions or a written quotation.
